Dear all, Please find below the link to a Commission database we can use in order to find NGOs: ec.europa.eu/youth/evs/aod/hei_en.cfmStep 1:This database brings together all NGOs active in organizing EVS exchanges. First, you need to select a country in the top field, e.g. the United Kingdom (see here). Step 2:After this you get a list of all NGOs in the UK offering EVS placements. In this case a total of 163 NGOs, as you can see in the top-right corner. To select one project/NGO you have to click on the EIRef number (the first column on the far left, again a picture here): Step 3:In the following detailed project description you scroll to the very bottom, where you find the contact details of the organization. Sometimes, as in this case, you even find a name. So, you can personally address the Email, which always makes a good impression (see here). Usually it should be fine to contact all NGOs in this database in English (not only those in the UK or Ireland). As they are looking for EVS volunteers the person receiving your message should be able to understand. This being said, note that there are some countries where people usually do not speak English too well (Italy, France, Spain etc.). Here it would probably be wiser to send messages by translating them first. Please feel free to contact someone from that country in the Citizens' Committee to help you with this. IMPORTANT!!! Before writing an NGO, please make sure it is not supporting us already by having a look on the list here.
